A suggestion: Keep the donation open for longer than one week. Some of us may be unable to contribute now but can in the future. Also, as you go through this process and show videos on the Unity forum, you might gain new members or new contributors. It is a great idea, but the one week limit for contributions is only going to hurt the chance of reaching your goal. We don't even use the base characters, but if we see this in action, we will probably want to contribute just to encourage such projects.
