Format wise, there is nothing wrong with the FBX file. The fbx is used successfully in many engines, and its always the format for example I use in unity when showing in unity. Unfortunatally we can never guarantee the models working when imported into a 3rd party 3d application like max or maya. A lot of my customers do use DAE when importing into 3rd party apps. At the time due to limitations within unwrap, I didn't do a DAE version. I will export a version this weekend for you. Please email me too. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Steve

All the medbase files a shown in a folder structure when accessed via the download medbase tab in the downloads section. Check out the shadermaps file for the normal maps. Ive also uploaded a new model version (April 2013) which contains all the animations in both multitrack format(i.e. where animations show as named tracks in engines such as unity), and also single track animations with start/stop times. Contains all the animations listed included the bow and horse

Thanks for sharing that information. Another good tool is unwrap3d to poly reduce. It is quite hard sometimes to reduce characters, especially on figer areas, which always seem the first to start reducing down - thus sometimes ending in not a satisfactory state after reduction.
