Furniture

Would be nice to get some furniture with different textures (new, worn, decrepit, etc.) from different genre like Victorian age, modern age and medieval age with container furniture that has moveable parts or independent models like what we see in current FPS themed games like Amnesia.

Stuff like cabinets, beds, wardrobes, trunks, desks, rugs, picture frames, tables, chairs, shelves, etc.

I use iclone 3DXchange. I can import 3dWarehouse props into exchange then make some rather serious edits as I need to do them. Then I can export to iclone. Iclone has an export pipeline that further allow exporting directly into game engines.

1. import from 3dwarehouse into 3DExchange = sketchup models

2. Exprot to iclone from 3DXchange = FBX. BVH, etc.

3. Export from iclone after some edits = into Unity and other game engines.

Also, this might be too expensive to buy these software. Go to your gamer engine forums and begin to do some searches.

My understanding is you can even import and edit SIM content for gamer engines.

Most people don't get too excited about developing props like you mention unless they have a captured audience nowadays. THere are just too many conversion softwares available.
