  1. I just thought I'd share my fix, in case it helps. I don't think anyone would argue that wearing armor is going to compress your bust. The armor isn't going to grow breasts to fit your body shape. However, the armor doesn't do that. The tabard does. The armor allows breasts to clip through. Additionally, a lot of the extra bits and bobs require custom locations because the armor was made in too many pieces. I added the tabard slot and overlay to the chest recipes, and disabled the body parts under the tabard. That made everything look correct and clean. Everything gets equipped together, and the tabard is never equipped alone. Then I added all the bits and bobs to the recipe that should contain them ie: 'knee' armor gets added to 'leg armor' recipe. Now, I don't need the custom UMA any more, and the armor works well enough to use in my rpg.
  2. I took a look at the demo scenes and figured out that the list of items I mentioned only work on a custom race called HumanFemale_OBF. So, my question is answered. My new question is: how hard will it be to get the items to work on a normal UMA, rather than a HemanFemale_OBF? Why is that required for a few of the pieces?
  3. I've been trying to get OBF working, and there are a few issues I can't figure out. Several of the pieces don't appear when they get equipped. The elbow armor, knee armor, thigh guards, gauntlets and the chain hood don't show up on the UMA when I equip them. Everything else seems to work as advertised. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
  4. The hair pack is working, sort of. I installed the extra shaders. Everything seems to be working except that all of the hair styles are always white. I can't tint them either. They remain white no matter what I have the tint set at. I obviously did something wrong, but I can't figure out what to change.
  5. That's exactly what I needed. Thanks a million!
  6. I figured out some of the issues. Several of the male face Normal textures import as generic textures. Once I changed them to Normal textures, nearly all of the issues vanished. My remaining issue may be the result of my severe lack of experience with UMA, or it might be a bug that crept in after an UMA update... I'm unsure. This is all done in the HairStyles demo scene. The issue is that the hair remains white when I set the color inside of the Dynamic Character Avatar script. If I play the demo scene, open the UMARenderer, and change the Diffuse Color in the UM_HairPack_Mastermaterial, then the hair tints correctly. Because it's not accepting the Dynamic Character Avatar tint, I'm unable to choose a color prior to spawning the UMA. Any idea how to fix that? I'm very new to UMA, so I don't know how all of the different scripts interrelate yet.
  7. This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I didn't see anywhere for general issues/questions. I just imported the UMA Hair pack and ran the Hairstyles Scene that comes with it. All of the hairstyles are blocky black and white and won't color. Any faces with beards are getting really bad artifacts. They turn black in any kind of shadow. Any idea what I might be missing?
