    Arteria 3D Model Images

I've been looking around and cannot find images to preview models. I decided to upload a few of my own in case someone wants to see what they look like before downloading.
  2. The UMA files come as Unity unitypackage format. It may be possible to decompose them with Unity into obj or fbx files that can be used in UE4, but using directly with Fuse without a ton of modification is not going to be possible. The cleanest way for use in UE4 is to see if one of the moderators here can export the model files directly without using a Unity trick to get them. Still, it would even take the moderators a bunch of work for Fuse, so that is probably out. If you look at the myshopify website which is the sister site to this one, there are lots of Fuse ready packages that can be used, but not the Viking as far as I can see. Hope this helps, -Jeff
  3. If you are still having problems. Let me know. I can walk you through the steps to get this up without any problems. Also, in addition to removing the scripts, you may want to remove the shaders. It is also better to do this as you import, instead of deleting, since it is easy to miss something. I just redid that level and it looks good over here. Maybe Steve will let me export it and upload it back to the site. Just a thought. Oh, one more thing. The water should also be left out and then reimported through unity standard assets as water(basic).
  4. Hi Thomas, The complete levels will work the same in both Free Unity and Plus/Pro. That being said, some of the older ones were made for older versions of Unity and may require some minor adjustments once imported. I am currently in Alpha for a game built almost entirely of Arteria products using Unity Plus. Originally the game size was approaching 300 MB for mobile, which seemed like a lot for me. My solution was to lower some of the image sizes down as well as decimate some of the 3D models. I also looked at trimming the sound files down to the bare minimum as well as switching them to mono where it wouldn't make a difference. We are now looking at about 130 MB file size. My advice is to do what I did. Use Unity Free/Personal as long as you can. There is very little difference initially when development is in it's infancy. Later on, when you see a feature that is required for your project that is not in the free version, make the choice to upgrade then. Cheers!
  5. 12 bucks is just a drop in the bucket. Like just one lunch out. It really is the least we can do to help keep things going. Thanks for all you do Steve, put mine through today. -JW
  6. I just tried with Mixamo Fuse v1.3.0, from Steam. The short answer is yes. It will import once you place the cloths in the Cloths folder. I was pretty sure I tried this before but wanted to be certain before answering. However, you may find discrepancies in the base material on some of the textures. There is a disconnect between one: how the materials look with the same name on the Adobe vs Mixamo. And two: some of the required textures may be missing entirely. I believe, if memory serves, that I was able to retexture the problem areas on the cloth itself, off of the imported characters, but could not change it on the imported characters that use the cloth from Arteria.
